LEADER WATER
(This event has already taken place)

Viaduct over river

IN DETAIL

An easy spring walk along the Leader Water, the path is undulating and there are sections with rocks and roots.

Leader Water is an ENHS spring favourite where you will see wood sorrel, wood anemone, golden saxifrage and many others in flower. You will see a hint of plants to come. There should be river flies and other invertebrates, and woodland birds will be busy singing. There will be something for all naturalists.

Check advice page for field trip guidelines. Consider carrying a stick/trekking pole to help negotiating some rough ground or when leaving a path.
