Train leaves Edinburgh Waverley at 9:51 Also stops at Haymarket, Edinburgh Gateway and Dalmeny.
Most likely return train 15:50 from Cardenden, arrives Waverley 16:44
Recce done today (Thursday). Interesting site, lots of fungi coming through and plenty else to see. On forest tracks but with short sections a bit churned up and muddy.
Check advice page for field trip guidelines. Consider carrying a stick/trekking pole to help negotiating some rough ground or when leaving a path.
