Explore the area where you will find the remains of early iron ore workings and modern forestry.
The habitats resulting in a wide range of conditions suiting a broad range of our nature.
There are constructed paths around the area with marked trails. There will be some off track walking with uneven ground and tree stumps. We anticipate that this field trip should be a meet-up for different groups across central Scotland. An opportunity find out what is on offer for us all.
There are no facilities because it is a small settlement, however, there are food and drink outlets at nearby Forth (also small).
