A 3 mile circular walk around Gilmerton House Estate on good paths and tracks. There is a bus or car option.Both leaders will be on the bus. Bus X7 to Dunbar from Waterloo Place ( Stop ZK)at 08:28. There is a 1.75 mile walk from the bus stop to Gilmerton Estate, this is straightforward on paths, tracks and tarmac and will be taken at a leisurely pace. When registering please advise (by close of play Thursday 19th September) if travelling by bus or car as we need to let the Estate Office know how many cars will be parked.

Bring packed lunch, liquid, waterproofs and wear sturdy footwear.

Car drivers should take the B1347 left hand turn off the A199 after Haddington, then take the second right minor road to Gilmerton House. Turn left at a sign " Gilmerton House, Estate Office, Deliveries & Supplies". Pass a long pile of chopped wood and the car parking area is to the left at the end of the wood piles. Jean and I will be there to guide cars from the minor road.
