BALERNO LOOP WITH ELFE

A day out with Edinburgh and Lothians Fungus Enthusiasts ELFE to share our interests.
In the Malleny Mills area the visit will include a former waste bing and a look around the Harmeny Wood, a nature reserve over the water from Harmeny School.
The sections of the walk are linked by short stretches of road. Off-road there are slopes and some loose surfaces. Detour to avoid these sections if necessary.
Bring lunch and a drink. Dress and footwear appropriate for a day out in nature.
