PRESTONPANS - BUTTERFLIES AND MORE

butterfly in grass

IN DETAIL

As well as the potential for butterfly sightings, we'll have the short grassland communities that grow on the different aspects of the bing, some planted woodland (pine, birch, alder) and the option of a short walk up the Waggonway towards Tranent which also has transport links.

Be prepared for a day out in summer with appropriate footwear and clothing. Bring lunch and drinks.

This event is in the period of Big Butterfly Count for Butterfly Conservation.
