(This event has already taken place)

Moth trapping

IN DETAIL

Katty Baird is passionate about insects. She has taken us on field trips to look at spiders and moths. For those that are learning about moths she runs monthly moth trapping sessions. Her talk is about adding value to the work she undertakes at the National Museum of Scotland Collections Building in Granton.

The talks are free and open to all, a small charge is made for refreshments. Please register to attend this event.

The talks are held in the basement down a flight of stairs, there are toilets in the basement. If you require level access it is possible to enter via the fire exit at the rear of the building. Ask to be dropped off at the rear of 33 Melville Street accessed from Chester Street and Melville Street Lane. There is parking in Melville Street in the evening but little space behind the Guide Hall. Taxi companies are usually familiar with accessing this venue. Please contact us if you would like further information.
