IN DETAIL

A 3-4 mile walk - along River Almond to Pond area, through woodland to Mausoleum and by R. Almond on opposite side. Return to Visitor Centre area for lunch.

Afterwards along main drive to woodland in south of park and west to far end. Then east through woodland across the R. Almond and around the Driving Range Perimeter to Visitor Centre.

Polkemmet Country Park nr Whitburn, West Lothian EH47 0AD If you travel by Lothian Bus X18 and walking you can expect to arrive at Polkemmet at 10.45. what3words drainage.tune.paddocks It is home to the Scottish Owl Centre and there is a cafe/toilets and golfcourse.
