ORMISTON HALL
(This event has already taken place)

Purple Toothwort

IN DETAIL

The walk will focus on winter identification of plants and trees and we will be visiting the famous Ormiston Yew tree which is thought to be around 1000 years old.

We should also see a number of bird species and some fungi, mosses and lichens.

The walk will be on good paths and tracks but some sections may be muddy and there could be some surface water in places. Please ensure your boots are clean before leaving home to reduce the risk of disease transfer to the yew tree.
