IN DETAIL

Return to Wilsontown Wilsontown has a long history of iron production and forestry.

A place for plants of all kinds, some of which are unusual. Glimpse a mammal, bird or reptile around the remains of former workings. A sunny day will reveal many insects.

The area has three waymarked trails on good paths, however, the intention is to look at some different habitats more closely.

You need to wear sturdy footwear and be confident walking over uneven terrain with some holes hidden under vegetation or filled with water. You can choose to walk along the main trails.

Bring food and drink - there are no facilities in this small settlement.
