A winter walk along the walkway to higher up the river. The intention is to walk at a reasonable pace to view the general environment of the area. We may divert to see Blinkbonny and Lymphoy. It is a good opportunity to see and hear birds.

The walk will probably end at Balerno, however, you will be able to leave at various points and get a bus back to the starting point.

Wear or carry clothing/footwear appropriate for a day out in winter. Be prepared for a full river and aware of the water's edge.

Bring lunch and a drink.
