IN DETAIL

A visit to Kilmagad Wood at Scotlandwell, Fife. This is a Woodland Trust reserve on the side of the hill above Scotlandwell. It consists of mixed trees and open spaces, you can view the surrounding landscape. There is a broad range of natural history to be found.

The slope is steep in places and on natural paths. Be prepared for a day outside with appropriate clothing and footwear. Bring lunch and a drink.

There may be time to visit a local cafe and farm shop.
