A plant day at the coast looking, in particular, for the tiny grass Mibora minima.

We shall walk along through Black Rocks, then along the dunes to opposite Eyebroughy Island. In the dunes behind Eyebroughy, we shall find the tiny grass Mibora Minima (Early Sand Grass) which is rare and interestingly it is the best time for seeing it. There are generally a lot of seabirds to watch in the long bay to Eyebroughy, so bring binoculars. Bring a picnic and good outdoor clothes. We shall return to Gullane along the back of the dunes mid afternoon.
