What: Invertebrates, Birds & Botany

Working Forestry & Land Scotland forest with mixed woodland areas. Some narrow, uneven paths with roots, some muddy so take your stick if you use one. Dog walking area.

Dress for the weather, bring waterproofs and wear appropriate footwear. Bring lunch, drink (and if you wish binoculars, hand lens, pots etc).

The car park on Leyden Road is small, 6 cars max, so please car share. By bus (X28) or train to Kirknewton Inn then 1.5 mile walk.
