Exploring the shore with Hannah Grist.

Hannah will escort us to our area of exploration, a rock platform (Lat Long 56.0126102, -2.8835595). We intend to walk directly to the site, about a mile, to take full advantage of low tide. There will be a small amount of equipment to carry.

After exploring this area we will walk in the wider area as the tide rises.

Wear shoes/boots suitable for walking over seaweed on rocks.

Check advice page for field trip guidelines. Consider carrying a stick/trekking pole to help negotiating some rough ground or when leaving a path.

Gosford Farm Bothy Entrance. Park just after turning into drive. Do not park in the Bothy car park. Car sharing - Wallyford Park and Ride ready to leave at 9.45.
