IN DETAIL

Come along to a drop-in afternoon at Saughton Park

The purpose of this event to is find and record overwintering sites of ladybirds. Many of you are familiar with the kind of likely sites and your attendance will be appreciated.

If you would like to join in and look for not just ladybirds, come along. A base will be set up in the Conservatory. You can support the community by wearing a visi-jacket so that people can spot you and ask for help.

Come for a look around. Saughton Park was reopened this summer and the gardens are now cared for by the Caley – Royal Caledonian Horticultural Society. An electricity generating scheme is being installed in the Water of Leith and is driven by an Archimedes Screw.

There are good public transport links with Saughton.

There is no registration for this event.
